The Brandenburgisches Viertel district in Eberswalde is currently the site of a large construction project. Through its project entitled BRAND.VIER, which was inspired by the name of the district, Housing cooperative Eberswalde 1893 eG is renovating eleven residential blocks with a total of 468 flats. BRAND.VIER is based on a cooperation agreement between the State of Brandenburg and the City of Eberswalde, and is also a public housing building project. A total of 340 of the new flats will be accessible without stairs, and at least 284 classified as public housing.

The staircase with platform leads to the roof terrace of the office complex.

ELA Container Sales GmbH combined three office containers to form the dialogue box, which serves as a contact point for members, employees, district residents and project partners of 1893. “We want to be where our members live,” says Caroline Breit of the cooperative’s marketing team. There are always lots of questions associated with largescale projects like this one, which can be best answered directly on-site.

The ELA system will serve as the contact point for the construction site until the end of 2024. After that, it could be used as a location for district management, for example. “That’s because the housing cooperative purchased the brandnew dialogue box modules from us,” says Jeldrik Trecksler, project manager at ELA Container Sales GmbH.
