ELA Container GmbH and Texo Group have entered into a cooperation agreement to revolutionise the modular accommodation sector in Scotland. The starting signal for the cooperation was the completion and delivery of new Texo Group office equipment in the Port of Dundee. With this partnership, ELA Container aims to gain a further foothold in the UK market.
Strong partners in Great Britain
The new project partner Texo Group is a specialist for engineering, technology and personnel services. Due to its holistic approach, this also includes the accommodation of personnel. According to Texo, ELA's premium containers fit perfectly into the group's business model. Together, ELA Container and Texo Accommodation have developed a building layout that takes into account the different operating processes within the Texo Group. Thanks to the modular structure, Texo and its customers have the advantage that they can expand their facilities to meet project-related or long-term requirements. Furthermore, ongoing operations do not have to be interrupted.
Two-storey building complex
The two-storey building complex was realised in the port of Dundee and constructed from 13 ELA premium containers. The facility underlines Texo Group's growing presence on the waterfront of Dundee, where it provides state-of-the-art engineering, design and manufacturing services for key parts of the UK's industrial needs. The 270m² building provides a home for Texo's six service divisions and initially stands out for its elegant black exterior design. The interior was left light and open. A friendly LED lighting system and high-quality floors made of vinyl, laminate and carpet contribute to this. On the own roof terrace you can enjoy the view over the harbour.
Uniform room concept from ELA
Richard Lamb, Managing Director of Texo Accommodation, manages the business of accommodation solutions on land and at sea. For him, the cooperation with ELA Container is an important element in the company's strategy: "It is important to us that our employees feel at home and that our team, thanks to our extensive presence in the UK, can operate from any of our facilities at any time during any project and have the feeling of being in the same place".
ELA continues to focus on internationalisation
For ELA, the cooperation with the Texo Group is a further important step in the internationalisation of the company. Steven Grant, Business Development Manager in Great Britain, also emphasises this: "Our partnership with Texo Accommodation combines the expertise of both companies. It holds great potential for a strong relationship in the market for standard and special containers. With facilities in key British locations, Texo is an ideal partner for ELA Container to become a major player in the British market".
