The company ELA Container has signed an agreement on the sale of its Russian subsidiary in Obninsk. After an intensive search and taking into account its social responsibility towards its employees, the company was able to find a buyer who will ensure the takeover of all Russian employees.
"The company and the brand ELA Container will completely withdraw from the Russian market due to the global political situation," explained Liesel Albers-Bentlage and Günter Albers, Managing Partners of ELA Container GmbH. As soon as the necessary approvals from the Russian authorities are received, the sale will be fully completed, the company confirmed.
